Tera was the North Dakota Department of Health's Diabetes Program Director for several years, and currently is the State Engagement Coordinator for the NACDD Diabetes Team. Tera has served on several local, state, and national boards and committees.
When Tera isn’t working, she can be found whipping up a nutritious meal and/or eating chocolate (they balance each other out); working out by chasing one, two, or all three of her children; or catching a brief moment of silence to watch mindless television.
Not only has Tera jumped out of an airplane, she also has her private pilot's license to fly one. She has been married to her wonderful husband Derek for over 7 years and serving in the North Dakota Air National guard since 2001.
