NACDD has a new webpage, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Resource List for Public Health, focused on CKD. The webpage provides national and state resources to assist with identifying the burden of chronic kidney disease in states, increasing awareness and education about CKD, and providing information about state activities related to CKD. One new resource, highlighted in the October 2014 NACDD Impact Brief, is a series of videos developed by the Michigan Department of Community Health about CKD. Another new resources is from NACDD and is a website with publications and resources from the Diabetes Leadership Initiative, a 3-year, NACDD-led project designed to improve the health of people with diabetes by building awareness of the need to detect, delay and manage diabetes complications, including diabetic kidney disease. If you have would like to list your state resources related to CKD, please let Trish Herrmann know: firstname.lastname@example.org.
