NACDD announces an exciting opportunity for states to develop an interdisciplinary team and submit a brief application for funding to attend the inaugural Action Institute to Increase Walking and Walkability for Interdisciplinary State Teams.
NACDD is pleased to be working with the CDC's Division of Nutrition Physical Activity and Obesity to launch this action institute to be held May 4-6, 2015 in Nashville, TN. We have received funding for up to ten state/intra-state regional teams (composed of five interdisciplinary members each) to attend this event. The event will be led by Mark Fenton, along with a team of equally recognized faculty who share Mark’s expertise and enthusiasm in this area. The time to make the push for walking and increased walkability is now!
