NACDD Awards over $285,000 for 2015 BRFSS Social Context Module
2014 BRFSS Social Context Module Funding Support Opportunity grant recipients include Alabama, Arkansas, District of Columbia, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Rhode Island and Utah.
The BRFSS Social Context Module serves to collect statewide data on income, housing and food insecurity. States can use this module to better analyze and interpret relationships among social determinants of health, chronic disease conditions and health behaviors.
Funding support for use of certain modules is not offered every year and contingent on availability of federal funds.
