The NACDD is working collaboratively with CDC, the Endocrine Society and PATH to improve the quality of laboratory measurements for chronic disease biomarkers. This project will develop strategies and activities through which the quality of chronic disease laboratory tests can be advanced. It builds partnerships with the Endocrine Society, PATH and other organizations that can help fulfill the objectives of this project. A meeting of PATH members, including the NACDD and CDC, is scheduled for April 22, 2016 at the Endocrine Society’s headquarters in Washington DC. During this meeting, partners will provide recommendations on biomarker prioritization and suggest strategies for a strategic plan as well as the development of a communications plan aimed to strengthen collaboration and partner engagement moving forward.
