Our field faces a host of challenges which call for collectively enhancing our leadership capacity. How to begin addressing these challenges is not necessarily obvious, and in our hectic multi-tasking work environment it's often difficult to fathom how it could be possible to fit in intentional review, study, and application of leadership practices. The President's Challenge will explore credible, relevant, and actionable concepts from the Leadership and Management disciplines to inform ideas and action for all chronic disease staff. We know that good leadership needs to be practiced at all levels of the organization. Below are a few of the questions we will answer over the next year, together.

This year I challenge all of our membership to identify, explore and apply new leadership and management concepts or techniques in your daily work. Interviews with industry leaders and experts will be conducted and distributed via podcasts, blog posts and additional resource links.
