The Gestational Diabetes Collaborative:
Better Data - Better Care
The Gestational Diabetes collaborative is a partnership with CDC/Division for Diabetes Translation to support a multi-state and tribal collaboration to develop and implement strategies to improve quality of routinely collected GDM data, improve the level of awareness that women with a history of GDM are at substantially increased risk for future development of type 2 diabetes, and implement strategies to enhance postpartum glucose testing and follow-up.
Members of the GDM Collaborative include the following state and tribal members:
Arkansas, Alaska, Florida, Idaho, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Utah, West Virginia; Chickasaw, Choctaw, South-central Foundation, and Navajo.
