Oral Health

The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD), with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has provided Oral Health Opportunity Grants to more than a dozen state health departments over the past several years. During each funding cycle, grants were competitively awarded to states that demonstrated a commitment to improving oral health surveillance, increasing access to and use of oral health services, and improving health among older adults.

 

We are proud to share the following summaries which highlight the work of five states that received an Oral Health Opportunity Grant in 2011:
