School Health Resource Guide to Support 1305


The resource guide is designed to help all states in the implementation of school health strategies and performance measures for Domains 2 and 4 of the 1305 State Public Health Actions federal grant, funded by CDC. Topics of focus are school nutrition, school physical education and physical activity, and the management and care of chronic conditions in schools. This website includes key resources and policy guidance, example activities, strategies and tools to support school health partnerships with information on the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model, an interactive school environment to access model and sample policies, and more. It is also valuable for all school-related work in nutrition, physical education and physical activity, and/or the management and care of chronic conditions. www.nacdd1305.org.
