School Health Project

The NACDD School Health Project assists Chronic Disease Directors and their staff to make informed decisions about a variety of school health issues. The School Health Council connects school health program staff in state health and education agencies for knowledge and resource sharing, technical assistance and best practice dissemination pertaining to school health.

Activities offered to members:
Quarterly open forums (conference calls), a bi-monthly newsletter focused on school-related aspects of Domains 2 and 4, communities of practice, short-term project-based work groups and technical assistance to states.

How can NACDD members get involved with the School Health Council?
Join a community of practice, participate in an open forum, submit success stories, join a work group! Contact one of the School Health Consultants for more information.

Check out the event calendar for all upcoming NACDD & CDC calls & webinars!
