NACDD’s New Health and the Environment Best Practices Team Launch
The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) in collaboration with CDC’s Environmental Public Health Tracking Program will launch the virtual Health and the Environment Best Practices Team in alignment with NACDD’s premier GEAR (Generate.Educate.Activate.Respond) Framework on March 10th 2:00 – 2:30 pm ET.
This Best Practices Team will help participants exchange technical information and share experiences, lessons learned and best practices about Health and the Environment. It also will facilitate discussions about the utility of tracking data in chronic disease prevention and support opportunities for collaboration among environmental health professionals and chronic disease practitioners.

Connections between chronic diseases and the environment
- Best practices for communicating environmental health data
Join peers, thought leaders, and subject matter experts as we discuss current topics, trends, and best practices. Holly Wilson, Health Communications Team Lead Environmental Health Tracking Branch on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 2:00 pm ET.
