Systematic Approaches to Screening

Monday, February 24, 2014   (0 Comments)
Five states completed their planning projects related to cancer screening and the Medicaid population.  The state health departments in Mississippi, Nevada, New York, Oregon, and Utah were funded by NACDD thanks to support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Division of Cancer Prevention and Control.  The Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection programs in these states worked with their respective Medicaid agencies to develop plans to assure quality cancer screening services for their clients that may move to Medicaid.  Discussion is going on about developing a webinar in 2014 for these states to share their experiences with other Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection programs.
