Charles Williams, MBA, CPA
Accounting Supervisor, Grants and Contracts
Charles joined NACDD as a Senior Accountant in 2014 before being promoted in 2019 to Accounting Supervisor, Grants and Contracts. He holds a variety of responsibilities at the Association, including: maintaining the annual budgets for multiple programs, preparing the accounting work for NACDD’s investment portfolio, overseeing consultants’ monthly invoices and travel reimbursements; and invoicing and accounting for annual membership dues. He also plays a key role in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
When he joined NACDD’s Headquarters staff, Charles brought more than a decade of experience in the accounting field, with responsibilities spanning audit, tax, financial reporting, and business management. He also has performed services in his capacity as a certified public accountant for several different clients.
Charles is a certified public accountant, holds a Master’s in Business from the Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Ohio State University. His professional affiliations include: the National Association of Black Accountants, the National Black MBA Association, and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
Charles was married for 17 years before his lovely wife departed in 2009. Since that time, he has raised a young daughter (15), a young man (21), and a Labrador retriever (Max). In his spare time, Charles enjoys being with family, a good movie, supporting the OSU football team, going to the beach, enjoying a good book, and a cup of coffee.
