Gwendolyn M. Hosey, PhD, RN

Pacific Chronic Disease Council (PCDC)

Gwendolyn M. Hosey, PhD, RN works with the Pacific Chronic Disease Council (PCDC) in developing the Pacific Non-Communicable Disease Initiative within the U.S. Affiliated Pacific Island jurisdictions.

Gwen has more than 35 years of experience working collaboratively with diverse community teams to design, implement, and evaluate population health strategies aimed toward reducing health disparities.

Prior to her consultant role with the PCDC, Dr. Hosey completed a 30-year career as a commissioned officer within the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, where she was assigned to the Indian Health Service and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Gwen currently resides in Nevada. Gwen and her husband look forward to hosting an annual summer camp for their two grandchildren.
