Senior Director of Operations
Keith Williams began his public health career as a public health adviser with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) STD-HIV Training Center in 1990. He has held numerous positions with CDC programs, including: immunizations, preparedness, and scientific education and professional development.
Additionally, Keith worked on several special initiatives, including the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act for 317 immunizations, a major reorganization of one of the Centers, and coordination of Agency funding for the 2014 Ebola outbreak. At one point, Keith took a hiatus from CDC and worked for the Tennessee Department of Health, where he served as County Public Health Director for four rural counties. He also worked as a legislative liaison for Tennessee’s Health Commissioner.
Keith retired from the CDC in 2017 and joined NACDD as Senior Director of Operations in 2018.
