Laura DeStigter


Laura DeStigter, MPH


Laura Frankel DeStigter has more than 10 years of nonprofit experience with a focus on child health, healthcare provider education, resource development, and program management. She currently serves as consultant in School Health for the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors, where she develops resources and professional development opportunities aimed at improving school health.

Prior to joining NACDD, Laura was the Manager at the Screening in Practices Initiative for the American Academy of Pediatrics. She oversaw a multi-component grant program focused on increasing rates of screening and referral for early childhood development, maternal depression, and social determinants of health in primary care.

Laura holds a BA in Government from Wesleyan University, an MPH in Community Health as well as a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In her free time, you can usually find her re-enacting Star Wars duels with her son.
