Spread the word: funding opportunity for your community-based partners

Please let appropriate community based organizations know about a NACDD funding opportunity.
Walk With Ease is an arthritis intervention that is evidence-based, low-impact, physical activity program for those with limited mobility, and helps to support other chronic disease programs. Individuals that participate in the 6-week program (either on their own or with a group) experience increased balance, reduced joint pain, improved mental health, increased flexibility and overall physical health.
Any help in reaching potential partners with this opportunity would be greatly appreciated.  Please feel free to reach out to Heather Murphy, if you have any questions. Below is a sample blurb that you could send to community partners that might benefit from this opportunity.
Physical activity can delay the onset of arthritis-related disability while also helping to manage other chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease and obesity. Walk With Ease is evidence-based, 6-week program designed to help individuals with limited mobility become more physically active. Click here for more information on a Walk With Ease funding opportunity. Applications due Friday, April 26, 2019
