Scholarship Winners Announced to Participate in NHS Digital/US Health Data Analyst Exchange Program
Congratulations Dora Dumont from Rhode Island Department of Health
Dora has been selected as a member of the inaugural class for the HIMSS Foundation’s NHS Digital/U.S. Data Analyst Exchange Program.  The program will be in Leeds and Manchester, United Kingdom from August 27 to September 5, 2019.  The scholarship for the Data Analyst program includes airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and meals.
The HIMSS Foundation in coordination with the HHS Office of the Chief Technology Officer, and the United Kingdom’s (UK) NHS Digital created this new exchange program. The HIMSS Foundation selected health informaticists/data scientists/data strategists working at the state and local public health to travel to the UK. Each of the selected participants will collaborate with NHS officials and lend analytical insight and identify novel approaches relating to health data science projects that could set the stage successful outcomes in addressing health imperatives and the determinants of health.
