State Health Departments Announced for GIS Project

The CDC Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention, NACDD and Children’s Environmental Health Initiative (CEHI) at Rice University are pleased to announce the selection of Minnesota and Vermont Health Departments for participation in the 2019 GIS Translation/Dissemination Capacity Building for State Health Departments: Advancing the Translation and Dissemination of Maps for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention project. Teams from each state and their partners will work with staff from NACDD, CDC, and CEHI in the development and dissemination of translation products for maps related to heart disease and stroke prevention. CDC and NACDD look forward to this exciting work and sharing information on the process and final products developed by each state.
