Tasha Moses, MPA


Tasha Moses is a consultant for the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors with areas of expertise in cancer control, chronic disease prevention, lupus, facilitation, strategic planning, project management, change management, and partnership development.

In her different roles, Tasha has served in multiple capacities, such as: Director of Strategic Initiatives and Communications at a national nonprofit; deploying a mobile health clinic for a Children’s Hospital in the District of Columbia; and managing a school‐based health program at two sites for 16 federal and state government‐funded programs dealing with HIV and STD prevention, tobacco control, chronic disease prevention, and adolescent health. 

Prior to NACDD, Tasha’s career involved tenures at several healthcare organizations in Washington D.C. and New York City, with responsibilities that included hospital operations management, establishment of a mobile health intervention program as well as program management and administration for government-funded programs dealing with HIV/AIDS and STD prevention, community health education and school-based health. She also helped to coordinate and prepare for accreditation by JCAHO and other healthcare organization accrediting bodies.

A seasoned facilitator and public speaker, Tasha holds a dual BS in Political Science and Sociology with a minor in Philosophy from Northeastern University and an MPA from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service.

When she’s not working, Tasha enjoys spending time with her family, perfecting gluten-free desserts, and planning her family’s next international adventure.
