2019 Chronic Disease Academy

The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors hosted the invitation-only Chronic Disease Academy on April 9-12, 2019, at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia.

This year’s Academy was very special as NACDD and the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion celebrated 30 years of national focus on reducing disease burden and improving health in states, tribes, and territories across the United States.

Many of our Academy alumni find their attendance so impactful that they keep returning to us – viewing the Academy as an opportunity to reignite their passion for the work and their dedication to their careers.

The Academy was a big success! Below are some highlights of the event, including photos and recorded plenaries. If you'd like more information from the Academy, such as presentations or photos, please contact NACDD Web Managing Editor Scott Reid.
