2021 Chronic Disease Academy

Enhancing State and Territorial Health Through Professional Optimization

The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors will host the next invitation-only Chronic Disease Academy on Aug. 31 - Sept. 2, 2021, at the Renaissance Downtown in Chicago, Ill. The Academy is NACDD's flagship professional development event for State and Territorial Health Departments to help build capacity to address chronic disease and promote health.

Many of our Academy alumni find their attendance so impactful that they keep returning to us – viewing the Academy as an opportunity to reignite their passion for the work and their dedication to their careers.

The 2020 Academy was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. More information about the 2021 Academy will be added to this page as it becomes available.

Below are some highlights of the 2019 event. If you'd like more information about the Academy, please contact us
