Peg Adams Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program

The Peg Adams Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program complements orientation and technical assistance that CDC provides to State Health Departments working in Diabetes and CVH prevention and management. The program is designed to help new state staff navigate the nuances of the state program/CDC relationship, connect with Diabetes and CVH Councils, and reduce feelings of isolation.

Each year, staff are selected through an application process and paired with volunteer mentors from State Health Departments. For additional information on the program, contact
